USB has revolutionized the computer industry. EnergyBus communication standards is expected to do the same in LEVs. The EnergyBus Organization to develop and introduce this standard has been founded on March 19, 2007.
After many years of preparation, the EnergyBus e.V. organization has been founded in Hsinchu, Taiwan, on March 19, 2007.

Goals The task of the EnergyBus organization will be the development and introduction of the communication standard and a corresponding plug sysstem into the LEV industry.
Membership Members can be companies who have an interest in the development and/or application of EnergyBus. The success of EnergyBus depends on the committment and input of its members.
