The LEV Components Special Exhibition celebrated its debut from the 5th to 8th of March at the Taipei International Cycle Show.
 

 
This show, with over 1000 exhibitors and 7500 visitors from across the world, is one of Asia’s most important bicycle industry events.

Over 1000 international cycle industry manufacturers were represented at the Taipei Cycle Show, which ran from 5th to 8th March 2014. It was almost impossible for manufacturers in the LEV (Light Electric Vehicle) sector to stand out amid the near-endless displays of bike frames, saddles, tyres, technical clothing and helmets.

Thankfully, the perfect solution was provided by the LEV Components Special Exhibition, which was enjoying a successful debut in Taiwan. Covering over 160 square metres, it gathered together offerings from, and information about, a diverse range of service providers and manufacturers of electrical and mechanical components for LEVs.

Exhibitors taking part in the Special Exhibition could inform visitors about their capabilities and about the special features of their products in three languages (English, German and Chinese) via posters produced specially for them. Alongside this, the opportunity for direct, hands-on contact with each exhibit made for an interactive experience. Among the exhibitors were Asian companies such as E-ParTions, Bafang, Wuxing Bicycle, Tianjin Songzhen and YingYu – specialists in LEV components such as electric drives, lighting systems, displays, twist grips and cables.

Particularly positive verdicts were received from exhibitors and visitors alike on the ambience of the event, which encouraged conversation with customers, and on the first class advice available on the show floor from the directors of ExtraEnergy Services GmbH & Co. KG, Jean Chen and Hannes Neupert, each with decades of experience in the LEV sector to draw upon.

After this successful launch in Taipei, the LEV Components Special Exhibition will be on display from the 10th to 14th March at CeBIT in Hannover, and from the 13th to 16th April at the China Cycle Show in Shanghai. In the autumn the show should be at EUROBIKE in Friedrichshafen (Germany), Interbike in Las Vegas (USA), INTERMOT in Cologne (Germany), Asia Bike in Nanjing (China) and at Electronica in Munich (Germany).
