IEC/ISO Working Group Meeting and Information Day

The group of the IEC/ISO TC69/JPT61851-3 LEV will meet at their next Face to Face meeting in the EnergyBus pilot project region at lake Tegernsee near the German Alps.
 

 
The joint working group of the two world standard organizations IEC (electro-technics) and ISO (mechanics) will meet from 15 to 18 October 2013 in the Charge & Lock pilot region to continue working on standardization of public charging infrastructure.

So far, only representatives of the motorcycle and car industry like Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, KTM-motorcycle, Piaggio, BMW-motorcycle and Toyota take part.

Main participants from the motorcycle industry are Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, KTM-motorcycle, Piaggio, BMW-motorcycle and Toyota.

Representatives of the bike and LEV industry are invited to participate in the standardization process. Please contact your national mirror committees and be part of the process. In Germany this is the DKE, your contact person is Jens Gayko.

The part of the meeting on 15 to 17 October is exclusively reserved for the official working group members.

For those interested in the subject of standardization, there are two possibilities, to participate as professionally interested guests. Each meeting will be held in English language.

Due to limited space, prior reservation is necessary.

A) Thursday, 17 October from 17:15 p.m.
The informal part of the BATSO General Meeting invites to get information on current developments concerning transport of hazardous goods. BATSO e.V. will also inform about the organization´s aim to make this easier for all those involved. Further information at:

The Berlin-based international BATSO Association welcomes new members from all areas of battery application.

There is the opportunity to submit the membership application at this evening and then to participate in the formal part of the general meeting from 18:15 p.m. The meeting will be held in English language

B) Friday, 18 October 2013
Professionally interested guests who want to learn about the process of standardization of public charging infrastructure and who also want to try the Charge & Lock Cable in the EnergyBus pilot region, have the opportunity to attend as guest from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the IEC / ISO TC69/JPT61851-3 LEV working group meeting.

In the morning, the chairman of CAN in Automation (CiA) eV from Nuremberg, Holger Zeltwanger, will explain the CANopen 454 protocol, which is known as EnergyBus protocol in the LEV world. Holger Zeltwanger will also hand it over to the working group.

After lunch, a public pedelec charging station, including the EnergyBus Charge & Lock Cable, will be visited.
