Bulls Lacuba EVO E45 - Easy Good

A whisper-quiet sprinter of a pedelec 45, with exemplary electronics built into the frame. It always impressed the test riders with a safe-feeling ride – even on difficult surfaces.

This Bulls Lacuba isn’t just named the E45; it also actually provides assistance up to the speed (in km/h) that its name suggests, unlike some other pedelecs 45. It’s well-planted on the road, and even at higher speeds test-riders always felt safe. And even on gravel or muddy sections, it always impressed with superb roadholding. And when other pedelecs would be getting fidgety, it would carry on delivering a smooth and powerful ride. The cost of this is the hefty weight of 28.4 kg – and note that this means rider and luggage can together weigh no more than 106.6 kg. The Brose mid motor impressed many of the test riders thanks to its whisper-quiet but nonetheless powerful operation – which is in favourable contrast to the generally rather intrusive whining of Bosch mid motors. It achieved the second-best value in the ergonomics test, with a rating of 1.7. On “Tour” it rode to an average speed of 29.8 km/h at a U-factor of 2. On the hills the range was impressive at 31.8 km, at an average of 27.7 km/h.
