Taipei Cycle 2020 - The Show will take place as scheduled

4th - 7th March 2020, Taipei, Taiwan. Coronavirus doesn´t stop Taipei Cycle Show. Huge ExtraEnergy Test IT Track. Book your Check-IN booth now.
 

 
From 4th to 7th March 2020, ExtraEnergy and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will invite to Taipei Cycle Show in Taipei, Taiwan. Due to the Coronavirus, there are the following restrictions:

  • All on-site personnel including outsourced contractors must wear face masks whilst on-site and on duty.
  • Hand sanitizer to be available at each entrance and restroom of the exhibition halls, including staff and freight entrances.
  • TAITRA will co-operate with the exhibition hall operators to strengthen measures against further spread of the virus.
  • TAITRA will also ensure that that it is worked promptly in line with the national guidelines from Taiwan’s Center for Disease Control
"Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in China and international restrictions we are very sorry to confirm that all the Chinese exhibitors and visitors will not be able to travel to Taiwan to attend the show", said Taipei Cycle Show organizer TAITRA on 31st January 2020. 

Limited impact from the global novel coronavirus in Taiwan
The WHO has warned that the outbreak of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV or Wuhan Pneumonia) is spreading throughout China and across the world. 

"The latest report from the WHO states that the number of total confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus is 14,557, with China (including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR) having the highest number of confirmed cases with 14,401, followed by Japan (20), Thailand (19), Singapore (18), Republic of Korea (15), Australia (12), and Taiwan (10)", published TAITRA on 3rd February 2020.

"At the time of writing on 3rd February 2020, no new countries have reported cases of 2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease in the last 24 hours, and there are only limited cases of infection in Taiwan with zero deaths, and those with the illness are recovering well and in a stable and non-life-threatening condition. 

All events and activities held by TAITRA for international visitors are conducted in full and stringent compliance with health and safety regulations, and there is no danger posed to exhibitions and meeting venues in Taiwan.  

Visitors can also be reassured that Taiwan’s healthcare system and medical sector is one of the best in the world, with the highest standards for medical assistance and most advanced medical equipment and facilities." 

Test IT Track
The indoor Test IT Track at TaiNEX 2, 4th floor, has 3,750 sqm and is specially designed for electric bikes. 
 
In good weather conditions, the outside test track will be opened for test rides. Outdoor, the test track features a track with 10 % slope. Participating pedelecs/e-bikes will be tested by hundreds of visitors during the show.
 
Co-exhibition at Test IT Track
For exhibitors and non-exhibitors in hall 1 an 2, TAITRA and ExtraEnergy are offering Check-IN booths directly at the Test IT Track in hall 2.
 
The Check-IN booths at the Test IT Track include:
• 9 sqm presentation space
• Lighting wall
• Advertising print optional
• Table
• Stool
• Carpet
• Booth construction

In addition, ExtraEnergy will ones again organize the LEV Components Special Exhibition which will also be located at Taipei Cycle Show at the 4th floor at TaiNEX 2.
