The main topic of domestic tourism in 2016 will focus on 700 years since the birth of Charles IV. and this anniversary is also reflected at REGIONTOUR.
An extensive promotional campaign is prepared by the CzechTourism Agency together with the Archbishopric of Prague, which will bring part of an upcoming exhibition for the Prague Castle to Hall P. The TIC Association in cooperation with the Central Bohemian Region will display a copy of the crown jewels at REGIONTOUR and the Brno Bishopric will focus their presentation on the connection of Charles IV. to Brno. Also the Bishopric of Litoměřice is found among the participants and thus visitors can once again look forward to a wide range of choices from religious tourism, i.e. pilgrimage trails, sacred monuments and other tourist facilities that churches have taken over into their property. The exhibitors who have already registered seven months before the start of the fair also include the Association of Regional Brands, Czech Railways, Radbuza Microregion, the State Agricultural Intervention Fund, the Technical Museum in Brno, Lúčky Spa and more. The highlighted topics of the REGIONTOUR Fair 2016 also include castles, museums and biking as usual.
Test ride most persuasive
New technology has to be made tangible to prove convincing. Since 1997, ExtraEnergy has been working to make e-mobility perceptible for the broad public.
Over time, test-riding pedelecs and e-bikes has proved itself to be the most persuasive method. Sceptics will turn into enthusiasts after a few rounds on the test tracks - especially the ones that have not been on a bike for years.
ExtraEnergy Test IT Show
The ExtraEnergy Test IT Tracks are known to many people all over the world, as well as to the industry and event organizers. On these test tracks on fairs and other events pedelecs and e-bikes of all kinds can be tried out for free.
The set-up includes curves, straights and a 20m long slope with a 10% incline. Therefore, all strengths of the vehicles can be experienced.
