Ed Benjamin: I have worked in USA bicycle business since 1969, changing to electric bikes in 1996. I have operated a consulting company since 96, focusing on electric two wheel vehicles.

SE: When and how did you get involved in LEVs?
EB: Dr. Frank Jamerson was a customer at our bicycle shop in Naples, Florida. He introduced me to LEVs.

SE: What is your personal motivation to work in LEVs?
EB: 1. I believe that LEV s will make a better world for millions of people - giving them better mobility, and at minimal cost to the environment. This is a necessary tool for improving the world.
 2. LEVs are fascinating challenges.
 3. The people working in the LEV industry are high quality, very interesting, and I enjoy working with them.
