M1 Spitzing

This carbon off-road pedelec with enduro styling impressed with its sporty but still pleasant riding position. A perfect sports device with superb power and uninterrupted cycling pleasure even on longer rides.


Good handling and comfortably-tuned suspension ensure uninterrupted cycling pleasure even on longer rides, and with a very good power assist factor of 1.96 this bike travelled a remarkable 110 km on the Tour circuit, thanks to its 880 Wh battery pack. 

The M1 Spitzing bikes in this test are radical in-house developments from specialist companies TQ-Systems and M1 Sporttechnik. 

With the two bikes in this test, these two Bavarian high-tech companies have demonstrated what is technically possible nowadays. 

TQ-Systems developed the drive system, and they largely build it themselves, too. Similarly, M1 Sporttechnik developed and manufactures the frame in their own premises as a top-class German high-tech product.

So it’s a perfect sports device with superb power, and the lusty noise of the motor fits well with the enduro looks; not so the motor cut-out at 25 km/h.
