Delightful cruising combined with a lasting feel-good effect: the Riese & Müller Delite mountain scored well on easy trails and received a “Good” in the Offroad Pedelec product group.
On the everyday and tour routes, test riders couldn’t stop raving about it. “Superb handling”, “Super, a delight”, “Inspired confidence”, “Top class”,…
With an average of 132.6 km, the Riese & Müller Delite mountain in its highest assistance mode achieved huge range figures on the Tour section of the test. An ideal touring pedelec, perhaps, but unfortunately it had no carrier rack, a precondition for evaluation as a Tour Pedelec. As an Offroad Pedelec, much weight was placed on its peak power assist values and climbing ability, and in these respects the competition came out better.
“A manoeuvrable bike in tight corners”, was the verdict from Marco Hösel, 6-times Trials world champion, who rode the Riese & Müller Delite mountain over the off-road test circuit. He recommends it as a “bike for cruising on easy trails”.
The Delite mountain was designed by Riese und Müller as a “bikepacking bike”. It’s easy to fit a carrier rack, but for this test it was evaluated as supplied, without the rack.
