Chic and comfortable, and at just 3,000 Euro a very affordable entry-level machine for the full-suspension MTB category. Comparable products in the test cost at least 1,000 Euro more.
The SDURO AllMtn 5.0 is similar in many of its technical solutions to significantly more expensive pro models from Haibike. Examples are the elaborate frame with four-pivot rear suspension, the Yamaha mid motor drive system and comfortable geometry.
On the trail, pro rider and tester Marco Hösel immediately noticed that economies had been made on the suspension fork and shock units from SR SUNTOUR. But on the forest tracks and cobbled streets of the “tour” route, test riders praised this bike in the warmest terms for its comfortable poise.
Amateur athletes who will not be pushing the limits of the technology on extreme trails and jumps will find in this bike a visually very appealing offroad pedelec, and one which will provoke their neighbours’ interest and envy.
The garish colour scheme in blue-orange, the racer looks with multiple coloured logos, and the angular shapes in places, all bring to mind the styling of a motocross motorbike. This bike immediately inspires confidence, and brings out the child in any man or woman.>> Photo Gallery Haibike SDURO AllMtn 5.0 (flickr)
