Urban Arrow Family CX-500

The Urban Arrow is a well-developed cargo pedelec with many clever details, a high quality specification and, thanks to its separable frame, it is very versatile and modular.

The “Family” was many test riders’ favourite of all bikes on test. With its swept-back handlebars and the leaned-back seat-tube, you sit comfortably upright in a “Dutch” riding position, and you have a great view at all times. Thanks to the especially powerful Performance CX motor there’s also plentiful power, espe- cially when you’re riding uphill. This comes, however, somewhat at the cost of range. Up to three children can be transported in the large box on two benches, or a baby seat can be fitted instead of the second bench. For goods transport there are various boxes available with up to 270 litres volume. Some other clever details are worth noting – the high rain cover can be linked to a poncho for the rider, the perforated metal base of the box allows water to drain swiftly away, and the entry step for children (see detail photo) and very clear tutorials on the website are also excellent. The flexibility of the modules, the powerful drive system and high payload capacity make winner in Commercial 120kg+. The bike also won a "Good" award in the commercial cargo 50kg+, cargo family, classic and easy product group.
