Riese & Müller Tinker city -Classic & Easy Very Good,Fold/Compact Good

A dream of a bike, which appears compact and unassuming but thanks to its versatility has a remarkably wide range of uses. It can be almost anything: a sports-touring bike, a family vehicle, a comfortable town bike…

The Tinker city from Riese & Müller is a true quick-change artist: it’s versatile like no other bike in the test. In visual design terms it’s distinctive, yet all of the testers liked it, describing its looks as smart and sporty. They also liked the colour, which they dubbed “Chopper orange”. The technology, too, leaves nothing to be desired: a closed chaincase, powerful yet still harmonious mid motor, frame lock, hydraulic disk brakes and 8-speed hub gear. But its real stand-out feature is its huge adjustability, via the stem which is extremely adjustable both for height and angle, and via the seatpost, which gives a similarly wide range of saddle height adjustment. This adjustability makes it possible for both shorter and taller people to ride this bike in comfort. And because it is always possible and easy to adjust your position further, you can prevent any symptoms of fatigue as you ride.
