Kreidler Vitaly Eco 6 - Easy Good

The Vitality Eco 6 is a robust easy pedelec with good components and an emphasis on ride comfort and leisure cycling.

The Vitality Eco 6 joins the scrum in the hard-fought category of easy pedelecs. With this relatively lightweight bike, which nonetheless has a maximum payload rating of 140 kg, manufacturer Kreidler demonstrates that solidly-built frames and good ride quality are possible even for low step-through bikes. Also contributing to this is the location of the Bosch battery, mounted behind the seat tube rather than under the carrier rack. However, in this position the battery pack is rather harder to remove, and this aspect received relatively low marks in the ExtraEnergy ergonomics test. The Bosch Active Line drive system is a safe choice for the ECO 6, with its start assist, easily-legible display and harmonious assistance. Only occasional graunching from the hub gear on steep climbs would occasionally disturb the harmony. The specification is oriented towards comfort and safety, with hydraulic rim brakes complemented by a coaster brake, and you will ride in comfort with suspension seatpost and forks. Overall a very respectable pedelec without any real weak points.
