YouMo One C - Easy Good

Take a seat, cruise and relax. The YouMo One C is silent but an eye-catcher, and promises, and delivers, relaxed cruising. Utter tranquillity on all ExtraEnergy test routes.

The YouMo One C is an appealing bike: test riders also liked the striking tyres and the shiny silver rims. And something that our measuring sensors couldn’t pick up was the wonderfully safe-feeling ride, which all of the test riders enthused about: “Very well-balanced steering, easy to ride no-handed, superb”, commented one test rider.

The 250W GoSwissDrive rear hub motor has a lively response and delivers good assistance even with little pedalling effort. The ease of operation for the gears and brakes is good, too. But test riders thought that the operation of the buttons on the display was unsatisfyingly imprecise, especially if wearing gloves, because of a lack of direct feedback from the soft buttons.

At 31.1 kg overall weight, the bike could be lifted up the steps in the ergonomics test only with difficulty. And without the motor it rode distinctly sluggishly, although given the weight the ride quality was good.

The quality of the cycle’s components is very good, including the Roxim E6AP front light which produces 70 Lux and has anti-dazzle and daytime running functions.
