Fischer Trekking E-Bike ETD 1761 - Easy Good

Incredibly good price-performance ratio! Strong but quiet motor, dependable brakes, stable frame, pleasant ride, and an upper-middle ergonomics test ranking – all for just 1999 Euro.

The Fischer ETD 1761 is an unpretentious pedelec which leaves little to be desired. With the motor switched off it rides almost as easily as a normal bike; switched on, the motor pulls strongly. With a “Hills” power assist factor of 1.35 it had the second-best value of all the easy pedelecs on test, and with 1.24 for the City section, the very highest of all the easy pedelecs. Test riders said: “Strong motor, you can relax uphill”. The brakes do what they should: high quality Shimano hydraulic brakes are fitted. Gears are shifted by a Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur. We did miss having a chain protector ring on the chainring at the front: this would have prevented the chain jumping off, something that happened several times during the test. The Twister stem and removable pedals enable you to make the Fischer ETD 1761 completely flat in seconds, without tools. That’s practical when space is short in your garage, or for transport by train, car or mobile home.
