From 14 to 17 April ExtraEnergy will conduct an ergonomics test for e-scooters at the fair i-Mobility in Stuttgart. Visitors to the fair are invited to participate in the e-scooter test and test-ride the latest models of e-bikes and pedelecs on the well-known ExtraEnergy Test IT test track.
i-Mobility is the fair for intelligent, sustainable and innovative transport solutions. It was organized for the first time last year. The organizer aims to highlight ways, ideas and solutions for reducing CO2 in the transport sector. Between 14 and 17 April a variety of sustainable and innovative transport solutions can be viewed at the Stuttgart fair ground.
E-scooters are electric vehicles (with, or without seats) capable of a maximum speed of 45 km/h. In 2002 ExtraEnergy conducted the first (and until now only) e-scooter test. This year the test was reanimated. The test, which is based on ExtraEnergy's well-known test for pedelecs and e-bikes, kicked off with test-rides in March and will continue with an ergonomics test in April in Stuttgart.
Invitation to participate in ergonomics test
The ergonomics test will test the everyday usability and intuitive operatability of e-scooters. Visitors participating in the test, will put e-scooters allocated to them through their paces at a number of test stations, before taking them for short test-rides and writing down their experiences. All visitors with M class driver's licenses (or higher) will be accepted for the test.
The wide spectrum of the latest model e-scooters will be available for testing. Testers can look forward to testing anything from smaller e-scooters (maximum speed 20 km/h) to bigger e-scooters (maximum speed 45/h) and unusual models.
All visitors are invited to participate and subject the test vehicles to comprehensive testing. It is not necessary to register beforehand.
