Heinzmann Estelle Sport will go 38 km/h

German motor manufacturer Heinzmann promises 38 km/h for the Estelle Sport Pedelec in 2005. All seven Estelle bikes will be equipped with new solid rear racks.

At IFMA Cologne 2004, German motor and electric bike manufacturer Heinzmann presented a new, solid rear rack for all seven models that come in four frame designs. The rear rack is made by Tubus and reliably holds one or two battery packs.

New is also that the Estelle Sport model assists up to 38 km/h. It can also be used as an e-bike up to 20 km/h. Heinzmann is the first manufacturer who followed the example of Swizzbee and legalized a pedelec over 25 km/h. The Estelle Sport will be available in 2005 with 9 Ah NiMH battery and Shimano gearshift with 8 gears. Retail price will be 2,499 EUR.
