Heinzmann: Pacelite 701

Fun but unfortunately illegal. Rating 2002: Very good. Price: € 659,-

This agile little gem with no compromizes in design was definately one of the favorites of our test team. Quite strong dispite its size, and excellent on the hills. Very quick and easy to fold and in its folded state relatively small. It has a minimum speed which must be reached before the motor kicks in, which can sometimes be quite inconvienent, especially on hills. There is no front brake and therefore emergency stops are not possible. It definately has the highest fun factor. Unfortunately it is not legal on streets in Europe.

Pros:
+ Easily folded
+ Very light
+ Excellent suspension

Cons:
- Illegal
- No brakes on front wheel
