Heinzmann: electric surfer 803

Elegant and extremely strong. Robust, light and high quality. Rating 2002: Very good Price: € 1199,-

This is by far the strongest scooter in our test this year climbing a 25% grade with 120 kg. All that power reduces the range a bit, especially in stop and go situations. The throttle control is a little touchy and takes a bit of driving to learn how to use all that power. It is very comfortable with a nice seat and full suspension. The cog on the rear wheel is quite large and sometimes on hard cornering, or uneven pavement, it hits the ground.

Pros:
+ Strong motor
+ Good price for performance
+ Easily folded
+ Very reliable

Cons:
- Motor brakes while riding down hill
