The E-Bike 2 is really a pedelecRating 2008: FairPrice: 1,999 EUR
The E-Bike 2 from Pegasus comes with two batteries for the long stretch. Unfortunately, the hope for a new long-range champion was disappointed. Despite the high battery weight at 8.4kg the pedelec E-Bike 2 only went 46km, and that with a relatively low assistance factor. Furthermore, while riding, the motor switched on and off quickly--this caused the loss of momentum for the test rider, especially while riding in the hills. In our judgment, the product, with its heavy Ni-Mhd technology, does not warrant the price tag at €1,999. We recommend the Rixe Bordeaux G8, which is 6kg lighter; it also has a definitely higher assistance factor, while also a higher range--and all this for the same price.
