Public charging systems for electric vehicles in large cities contain various obstacles, both for users and suppliers. Therefore, this lecture is about efficient battery exchange stations with standardized battery containers and gives a first insight on the system of standardized exchange structures, in modern urban development and the use of electric mobility.

Tilmann Künzel is Founder and Head of Development of Cyberwan. In 2005, he developed a battery swapping system for Berlin and close-by urban centers. In 2010, Tilmann founded the company division of Ettrak and designed machines and applications for the Ettrak battery swapping system. Until today he researches and develops the battery swapping system in partnership with ROPA engineering GmbH, the developer of the battery EnergyTube.
