24th February 2019, Fahrrad Essen, Germany. From start-up to direct sales from stock in Dusseldorf. eFatbikes with up to 1,100Wh. Exchange of experiences in eStallion Fangroup.
Roman Chevelev, CEO eStallion / eFatbike, in an interview at the ExtraEnergy Test IT Track at the Fahrrad Essen 2019.
The interview was conducted by Angela Budde, Editor ExtraEnergy.org.
Angela: Which bikes did you bring to the Fahrrad Essen?
Roman: We have brought our eStallion fleet, such as the BASIC, HIGH, HIGH PLUS and the smaller 20 inch folding MINI eStallion.
Angela: Since when does the company exist?
Roman: The company exists since 2017, our head office is in Dusseldorf. There, the bikes are assembled by us and distributed directly to end customers. At our company headquarters you will find the best advice.
Angela: Please tell us something about the company history.
Roman: We are a start-up. We financed the first ten prototypes out of our own pocket. The whole concept was set up without banks and without investors. It was built on pure trust between customer and manufacturer. 70% was the down payment and seven months waiting period. This year, we offer the bikes directly from stock without a long wait.
Angela: What's so special about eStallion pedelecs?
Roman: The wide tires, with which you can easily navigate all surfaces, such as asphalt, mud, gravel, sand, snow and forest trails. Furthermore, we are with our largest battery at 1,100Wh. Under ideal conditions, ranges up to 250km are possible. In addition, we have many color options and frames with a lower entry. On our side you can assemble the bike yourself. New is the 20 inch folding eStallion, which will be delivered from August 2019 and of course has the same battery size as the large eStallions.
Angela: How can I find out about experiences with your bikes?
Roman: Through our Facebook community. There, owners of eStallions share their experiences, impressions and information among each other.
