Santa Monica EV uses ExtraEnergy´s Components Special Exhibition as presentation platform for its product BEAMts at TBW 2015.
ExtraEnergy talked to Britton Jackson (CEO of Santa Monica EV) about BEAMts.
The interview was conducted by Josephine Fischer (Trade Show Reporter).
Josephine: Why do you visit Taichung Bike Week?
Britton: I am here to make new business contacts, whilst I do not have an own booth. I use ExtraEnergy as presentation platform for my product.
Josephine: Which product portfolio is offered by your company?
Britton: The company focuses on drive system components: Santa Monica Electric Vehicles focuses on developing licenses for components or components of light electric vehicles themselves. At the ExtraEnergy LEV Components Special Exhibition we present our BEAMts torque sensor. It is sitting right on the chainwheel, providing a customizable software. It will work with any pedelec.
Josephine: What makes your product special?
Britton: We don´t require software, no special frame is needed, no frame changes are required. All electronic devices are inside our BEAMts box. Another speciality is that you can split the system and combine our system with other sensors. Furthermore, our software is customizable, the product is easy to mount and flexible. A throttle can be added, it is waterproof, self – calibrating and easy to install.
Josephine: Do you have any new products for 2016?
Britton: New products are planned for 2016.
Josephine: Where do you sell your products?
Britton: We already have cooperations worldwide and are due to establish even more.
