The trade fair company Messe München offers free entrance to BIKE EXPO to all ExtraEnergy.org readers. The fair runs from 22 to 25 July at the fair grounds in Munich. Here's how to claim your free entrance ticket and what you'll experience once you're inside!
To claim your free ticket, simply go to this page on the BIKE EXPO website. Click on the green button "Ticket Order" and enter the promotional code 09A26. Then click "Next" and enter your personal detail. Organizer Messe München will immediately e-mail your free ticket, which you have to print out and bring along on the day.
LEV highlights at BIKE EXPO Once you're inside, you should not miss the opportunity to visit the ExtraEnergy E-Mobility Hall C4. That's where you'll find:
The biggest electric vehicle test track ...ever operated at any trade fair. It was designed to give ample space for taking pedelecs and e-bikes of all makes on extended test rides.
Speed track Visitors may take the fast pedelecs and e-bikes to their limits on the outdoor speed track.
4-Day stage program ExtraEnergy offers a non-stop information program on the theme electric vehicles on the ExtraEnergy Stage on the days set aside for industry visitors (22 and 23 July) and on the days when the fair is open to the general public (24 and 25 July). The expert presentations focus on topics such as pedelec tourism, purchase support, GS certification, battery safety, battery recycling and the latest market developments. Trader training with Dangerous Goods Certificate Two day-long workshops are run for traders - the one on 22 July and the other on 23 July. On each day traders will listen to 10 presentations (in German) on the pedelec and e-bike market, product groups and client wishes in the ExtraEnergy test, motor systems, product safety, GS certification, EnergyBus and battery safety. The full-day training workshop is concluded with a Dangerous Goods course, and the handing over of Dangerous Goods Certificates to participants who passed a short examination. The certificate enables traders to receive and dispatch lithium batteries (Dangerous Goods Class 9).

International LEV Seminar on 25 July On Sunday 25 July a special seminar will be hosted in English. On this full-day event the focus will be on markets in other countries, new technologies and opportunities beckoning LEV traders. Participation in the seminar will be free to exhibitors and members of EnergyBus, but a completed registration form must be submitted. All interested people can still register to participate.

New ExtraEnergy magazine at special fair price The second issue of the ExtraEnergy Magazine for Pedelecs and E-bikes appears on 22 July on BIKE EXPO. It includes results of tests conducted recently on 47 e-vehicles, a trader directory, big section with advice on LEV topics and a special feature section on LEV design. Visitors to the fair get the 200-page bumper issue for the special fair price of 15 Euro (instead of 25 Euro).

Announcement of test winners on 22 July On Thursday 22 July the winners of the 10 ExtraEnergy product categories in the latest test will be announced at 14:30 on the ExtraEnergy Stage in Hall C4. Then the throphies will also be handed over to representatives of the winning manufacturers. The winners are all listed in the new magazine.

Exhibition of vehicles tested All 47 pedelecs and e-bikes tested earlier this year are to be seen in Hall C4. The exhibition of the bikes should not be missed, because it gives a good overview of the current market!
Ergonomic test One leg of the ExtraEnergy pedelec and e-bike test consists of an ergonomic test, which tests the bikes at different stations for their everyday usability, user-friendliness and intuitive operation. At BIKE EXPO you may conduct your own ergonomic tests on the bikes.
