ExtraEnergy has put together an extensive supporting program for e-bikes and pedelecs at BIKE EXPO 2010 from 22 to 25 July in Munich. On these four days the E-mobility Hall will be a hive of activity with test-rides, exhibitions and information sessions for visitors from the trade and general public on all aspects of light electric vehicles (LEVs). 
 

 
The LEV supporting program
Extensive information sessions will be held on all four days. For instance, on the ExtraEnergy stage in Hall C4 experts from test institutes, such as TÜV Rheinland and velotech.de, will inform visitors of new and existing safety seals. Representatives of a variety of manufacturers and suppliers will inform about current trends and opportunities, and ExtraEnergy will present an overview of the market for pedelecs and e-bikes and offer tips and suggestions on how to proceed and what to look out for when purchasing and selling a pedelec.

Trader training
The information sessions on the ExtraEnergy stage will give visitors from both the trade and general public a broad overview. Trade participants will be given deeper insights at day-long Trader Training Sessions to be held on 22 and 23 July in German.

At these sessions participants can earn Dangerous Goods certificates for dangerous goods (as defined by the traffic regulations) up to class 9. Also on the program are 10 presentations on LEV-related topics, including opportunities and risks in the electric vehicle market.

LEV seminar
On Sunday 25 July a LEV seminar will be presented in English for exhibitors, Energybus members and international trade guests. This event will be free to exhibitors and Energybus members.

On every fair day experts will be at hand throughout the day to offer advice and tips.

Early-booker discount
Traders can book their places at these trader training sessions for 120 Euro per place, or 85 Euro (if registration is received before 7 July).

BIKE EXPO 2010
BIKE EXPO is the new bicycle trade fair (first organized in 2009) of the Messe München focused on urban mobility. E-mobility is a focus point and the test authority ExtraEnergy e.V. the organizer and operator of the complete e-mobility offering to fill the entire Hall C4. Apart from the information program, two test tracks will entice visitors to test-ride the latest e-vehicles on the market.
