The EV Lithium-ion Battery Forum will be held in Beijing from 24 to 27 August. The organizers offer a huge 50% discount to manufacturers registering before 9 July to participate in the 4-day conference.
This is the only conference in Asia covering both 2- and 4-wheel vehicles (including buses and trucks) and was organized for the first time last year. This year 55 speakers from 16 countries (including 16 vehicle manufacturers and 10 battery manufacturers) will share their knowledge with an international audience.
The conference brings experts from every part of the value chain together - from materials to testing, BMS, power train and EV re-charging infrastructure.
Among the companies already registered to attend are Jaguar/Landrover (UK), Foton (China), Dongfeng Motor (China), GM, Mahindra & Mahindra, Volkswagen and the National 863 Electric Vehicle Project of the PRC Ministry of Science and Technology (China).
Tim Schaefer, chairman of Battery Safety Organization (BATSO), will speak about lithium battery safety tests and BATSO certification at 11:20 a.m. on the second conference day (25 August).
