The annual Stelzenfestspiele will this year take place from 25 to 27 June in Stelzen just outside Reuth. No need to bring your pedelec along - you'll be able to rent one there!
 

 
Ride your pedelec to the beat of music
Once a year the 180-citizen town of Stelzen outside Reuth in the district of Saale-Orla stages a spectacle of an unusual kind. On this weekend, all kinds of strange music pour from halls, stages and bars in the small town and the surrounding forest. The music festival kicks off on the Friday evening in the Festival Barn with the Agricultural Maschines Symphony. This musical spectacle, the brainchild of festival founder Henry Schneider, is produced with maschines and tools used everyday in the agricultural sector. His own tongue-in-cheek assessment: "Not the faintest breath of art elitism is detectable in this piece".

On Saturday and Sunday ExtraEnergy will offer test rides on pedelecs to interested music festival participants. For a small fee, and after presentation of an ID document, visitors will be able to take the pedelecs on an extended test round through the beautiful countryside - all the time accompanied by sounds of live music.

Pedelecs rented out for concert trip on 26 June
Saturday at 11:00 will be concert trip time - a trip which will take the visitor to three musical events in three different locations. It can be undertaken either by horse and carriage, or an ExtraEnergy pedelec.

Day of the Open Door on 28 June
Directly following on the Stelzen Music Festival, ExtraEnergy will again hold a Day of the Open Door on 28 June in Tanna.

The test center and imposing collection of old and new electric vehicles in the ExtraEnergy collection (now counting over 600 vehicles) will be open to the public from 9:00 to 16:00 on the day. All the vehicles tested in the Spring Test will be present and ready to be taken on test rides. This will be the ideal opportunity to see what is new on the market. The ExtraEnergy team will gladly answer all questions on the topic of electric transport.
