At the Taipei Cycle show the ExtraEnergy Test track was open for test rides on electric bikes of various manufacturers every day. The test course was located on a park deck outside the exhibition hall on the 4th floor of the Nangang Convention Center. This was a great spot, because riders could go down the drive-way and then ride all the way back up again. On this spectacular 100-meter long uphill ride one could feel the real benefit of an electric motor in a bike.
The US 36 km/h version of the Ultra Motor A2B e-bike was absolutely unbeatable in its uphill riding capabilities. TranzX presented their latest improvements and the brand new Eagle for special guests. Protanium (JCE) also participated in the Test & Drive event. The powerful motor developed by Unique Product & Design Company was available for test rides for the first time and could be tested on different bikes in different versions.
