Bike Expo is scheduled for 21 to 24 July in Munich, but already the number of confirmed bookings received from e-bike exhibitors stands 26% above last year's number. And more bookings are received daily. Bike Expo emphasizes pedelecs and e-bikes, but all types of 2-wheel vehicles will be represented for the first time this year.
Bike Expo, the annual bike fair of Messe München GmbH, is experiencing a mini-rush on exhibition space. Roughly two months before opening day, the number of exhibitor bookings is already 26% above that of last year, the organizers said yesterday.
In its third year of existence, Bike Expo has clearly established itself in the 2-wheel industry as one of the major events on the annual exhibition calendar - in all areas, including mountain bikes, racing bikes, city bikes or electric bikes.

For the first time this year Bike Expo will cover all kinds of 2-wheelers. But, the different bike segments will be separated very clearly, to ensure the general public find their way around the exhibition grounds and trade visitors can plan their days most productively. At the same time the different halls will be easy to reach and theme-focused.
E-mobility also focused
Especially players in the light electric vehicle sector profits from the new fair in Munich, with its consistent and heavy emphasis on e-mobility.
Bionx, Flyer, MyStromer, TranzX, NuVinci, but also bike manufacturers with electric products such as Kalkhoff, Panther, Sachs Bikes, Haibike, KTM and Kettler will present their latest e-mobile transport.
As last year, pedelecs and e-bikes will occupy an entire hall this year. Known as E-mobility Hall, the pedelec and e-bike promoter ExtraEnergy will plan and manage it. To date the attractive exhibition spaces directly next to the test track and special e-mobility premium packages have been escpecially popular among players in the LEV sector.
Already almost all Check-ins with direct access to the E-mobility Test Track have been booked. But, the organizers say there will always be space for late-bookers.

Test-riding cannot be topped
With the slogan of "Bike business meets bike passion", the organizers demonstrate clearly that the fair caters for both business and consumers.
This year the spotlight will fall on information and training. For instance, the training offers of the 5th ISPO Innovation Forum, the Bike Manufacturers' Congress and the training programme of ExtraEnergy.
ExtraEnergy e.V. is an exclusive partner of Bike Expo responsible for the electric 2-wheel area. The well-planned offer in the E-mobility Hall will be back this year in an even bigger format. The Test IT Track will encircle the internal exhibition surface almost entirely and will include two ramps. Visitors will enter the E-mobility Hall under a ramp and then move to the so-called Action Section in the hall with a bridge over the test track.
In addition, there will be a Demo Day for the first time this year and namely on the day before the fair starts, ie. on 20 July, in Bikepark Samerberg. Here e-bike riders will have their own 3,5 km test track running through little hamlets in the Samerberg valley. Racing and mountain bike riders will also have the opportunity to test their vehicles.
Bike Expo will take place from 21 to 24 July in Munich.
The first three days (Demo Day, plus 21 and 22 July) will be reserved for trade visitors, while the fair will be open for the general public on 23 and 24 July.
