SE: When and how did you get involved in LEVs?
CDW: We started to provide making the battery in balance when they have been packed in 1999, when few engineers specialized in battery technology and most of them did not understand how important of the balance of individual cell in the battery package. Thus some technical problems occurred. After several years' development, the maintenance of batteries has roused wide attention in China and has become one of the most important testing items.
SE: What is your personal motivation to work in LEVs?
CDW: I believe that two-wheel transportation tool will exist in China for a long time and the electricity-driven one will not only increase efficiency but also be environmentally friendly. Also I believe that petrol oil should be used for more important applications than just burning it.
