Within ten years, bike sharing has evolved from a niche to a globally successful mass application. Now, the technology of the pedelec together with mobile internet connectivity will soon once again revolutionize the system.

Hannes Neupert reported on the activities of the International Energy Agency. In addition the audience learned about the highly innovative pedelec rental system installed in Copenhagen and the Lock8 concept. Bike sharing is changing the world of public and private transportation!
