On 10 March 2013, EnergyBus member MyStromer AG launched the new ST2. EnergyBus connector and permanent cloud connection included.
The world’s first digitally connected pedelec was launched on 10 March 2014 at the Stromer campus in Bern. Watch the video clip which will be shown at different open air cinemas in Switzerland.

Battery with EnergyBus connector
The ST2 offers complete flexibility when it comes to recharging the battery. It can be charged through an external socket in the frame with the battery in the bike. Or, with the twist of a key and the press of a button, the battery can be removed and charged at home, at the office, or even in a café with the Stromer battery charger.
The ST2 can even be recharged while cycling. When used, the braking system of the ST2 generates energy which is then fed back into the battery. Furthermore the ST2 is EnergyBus compliant. A magnetic EnergyBus connector on the battery adheres to the EnergyBus Standard.

The ST2’s new user interface provides remote, wireless interaction between the bike and other touch points such as the Stromer Portal and the smartphone. The bike’s performance settings can be fine-tuned from the phone, wireless firmware update, remote acces to bike information and control functions, remote bike performance tuning via Smartphone App and lock and unlock ST2 via Smartphone App.
