Media interest in the recent ExtraEnergy pedelec and e-bike test was big. Among others, BIKE EXPO sent a TV team to film the test activities in Dresden and Tanna (see photo). Take a look at the fruit of the team's hard work.
The ExtraEnergy test typically starts out with the so-called ergonomic test, when the user-friendliness of the bikes is tested in everyday situations (ie. removing a battery). This time around the ergonomic test was conducted in Dresden.

Then the testers moved on to Tanna, where the bikes were submitted to the most important part of the ExtraEnergy test, namely the measured test rides over an official test track, with an off-road, hill and city sub-section.

The next ExtraEnergy test will start on 11 September 2010. Manufacturers with new pedelec and e-bike models to be tested, can still register by completing a registration form.

The publication day of the latest ExtraEnergy pedelec and e-bike test results is drawing closer - they will be released at the bike trade fair BIKE EXPO in Munich on 22 July. All the bikes in the Spring 2010 Test will also be on display at BIKE EXPO (in Munich from 22 to 25 July 2010), where the public will be able to test-ride them over two test tracks - an indoor track and a fast, outdoor track - and read all about their performances in the Spring 2010 Test in the ExtraEnergy Magazine.
Manufacturers may bring other models (ie. models not tested in the Spring 2010 Test) to BIKE EXPO to have them test-ridden by the public on the ExtraEnergy-operated test tracks. But, registration is compulsory. Kindly register your participation by completing a CheckIn form.
