A colourful pedelec in the lower price category, and with significant weaknesses. For what it is, at 1008,4 Euro it seems rather expensive.
From ten metres away this Llobe makes a good impression. And once you've taken to the saddle and completed a ride you can say yes, it's rideable and yes, it gives power assist.
But on both hills and city routes it achieved a U-factor of less than 1, so it’s only very meagre assistance. Its 24.6 kg weight means it is not the lightest pedelec on test, but it's acceptable.
It's a pity that the carrier rack, so prettily colour-co-ordinated with the frame, is only rated for a 15 kg load. The grips are also colourfully chic, but only offer limited comfort. The Bafang control console is hard to reach without taking a hand from the handlebars, even for people with large hands.
The 3-speed Shimano hub gear, combined with the rotation-sensor controlled Bafang mid motor can be used to propel the bike with very minimal effort of your own.It seems doubtful that the brakes are beefy enough for the 150 kg total weight rating. Given this, we would prefer to spend a little more and to explore other options elsewhere.
