From 3rd to 4th October 2017, ExtraEnergy and the Royal Dutch Touring Club (ANWB) warmly invited to join the Ergonomics Test in Wassenaar, the Netherlands.

The Ergonomics Test tests pedelecs for their general usability. Easy of manhandling, intuitive understandability and test riding are rated by as many testers as possible via a comprehensive survey.

On the 4th October 2017, ExtraEnergy interviewed Marieke Haafkens (Marketing & Communications Leasure Team, ANWB) and Joyce Luk (Marketing & Communications Ensurance Team, ANWB). The interview was conducted by Angela Budde (Editor, ExtraEnergy.org).

Angela: Why do you join the Ergonomics Test?

Marieke: I want to learn about the latest innovations and their consequences. This applies escpecially to infrastructure, like biking routes, which defenitely has to change. 

Joyce: I already joined the Ergonomiecs Test in spring. It was a lot of fun. 

Angela: Which bikes are you most interested in?

Joyce: In my free time, I do sportive bike touring. That is why I like Fat Bikes. Today, we went to the beach and rode the bikes there. They are perfect for the beach.

Angela: Why do you like electric bikes?

Marieke: They are a lot of fun to ride. Especially when you bike together.
