The Carver Strict e.03 has a truly minimalist look: and despite its 23.4 kg weight this sleek bike feels very pleasantly light to ride. The Carver Strict e.03 impressed for light trail riding, even on more challenging sections. “Good geometry” pronounced ExtraEnergy test rider and six-times World Champion Marco Hösel, after taking the Carver Strict e.03 through the offroad pedelec test. But it would have delivered more grip with wider tyres. On the everyday and touring circuits, test riders were without exception enthusiastic abut its agility and lively acceleration. This was positively confirmed in the analysis of the many accelerations measured on the ’City’ section of the course. Here the Strict e.03 achieved a remarkably high power assist factor of 1.23, with an average speed of 23.4 km/h. On the “Tour” route, this sporty machine covered a full 86.2 km. You’ll need to carry your luggage in minimalist style: not for classic cycle tourists, but just fine for bikepackers.
