SE: When and how did you get involved in LEVs?
US: Originally I wanted to open up an electric bike rental service in the Swabian mountains. To begin with, I bought two relatively low-price bikes and they did not last long. But this could not diminish my interest in electric mobility. So, I got in touch with ExtraEnergy and joined their big electric bike test as a test rider in 2007.
EER: Was ist Ihre persönliche Motivation, sich mit elektrischer Mobilität zu beschäftigen?
US: We now have the chance to create and help spread sustainable mobility. Clean and healthy vehicles will have an decisive effect on our quality of life in the future and that of following generations.
